Putty Question

Just a quick question for all you Putty users out here. Is there anyway to keep the server up after closing putty? My server is being hosted off of a dedicated server and the second putty closes, so does the server! Is there anyway to keep the server always online?

Currently what im using is WinSCP and Putty. I am planning on upgrading to Multicraft tomorrow but I was wondering how I could keep the server up[DOUBLEPOST=1526596720][/DOUBLEPOST]

Like my practice won't open until I go into Putty and type run.sh on putty

Use screen. Screen is a linux program that will keep your shell scripts running, even after you log off. You'll also need to put a screen daemon command in your rc.local or cron to keep it running on a reboot.
