And I am happy to announce our HCF server is releasing for BETA on the 28th June
Here's some more information!
Just to allow you all to have some more information regarding our upcoming HCF server, I thought I'd explain in some more detail about the economy and the structure etc...
Eco:
The server MAP 1 of "Gangs" is going to be P1,S1 However, there will be P2 and S2 integrated into the MAP, this will be via the 'OP KEYS' which along with all our other server packages are on the buycraft store as of now! (store.pyrohq.com)
We didn't want the server to be P2W (pay to win) as Logan (Other Owner) and I wanted to go for a subtle 'OG' approach to the server. P2 S2 will be extremely difficult to acquire, so do not worry about some factions being extremely OVERPOWERED (OP) this will not happen, we will make sure of it.
We are also not going to be having CRAZY sales... on release we may bump a 90% off, but this will be only for a small period of time as again... we do not want to damage the economy on the day of release.
Regarding STRUCTURE:
We will be doing 2 WEEK MAPS to begin with this will allow us to build at least a minor (or maybe major) player base... depending on how we do, we will possibly consider reduce it down to 1 WEEK MAPS, but as of now, we are currently doing 2 WEEKS.
With our server, we really wanted to keep it rather simple... so we've limited ourselves to 1 CUSTOM ENCHANT (Speed 2 Boots) nd only a few ABILITY ITEMS Fire Swords will be quite rare, they will only be able to be obtained by buying the 'KEY OF THE CURRENT MONTH'
The reason we wanted to make things like P2 S2 , Fire Swords etc... quite rare, is because we want people to ecstatic when they kill someone and get one of those items! In HCF nowadays, we feel like OP items like P2 S2 (and more) are too common, so that's why we're keeping our KEYS at a high but very rather reasonable price.
