Question About Computers

Greetings McMarket users,

I have finally raised enough money to purchase a new computer, which I desperately need because my current laptop is running on fumes. I am using a MacBook Pro 2012 model, which I plan on selling for some money.

My question is do any of you guys have any suggestions for a laptop? My budget is up to $1300, which is what a Mac is worth. Don't get me wrong I would love right now to spend my money on custom-built pc but I need a laptop for school and college. I was thinking of just buying another MacBook Pro, but I was wondering if any of you guys had better suggestions?

That's a pretty good laptop.

Looks amazing! Only thing I don't really like is that the screen is a bit too big for me, I prefer something around 15''. Regardless, I appreciate the suggestion, I will definitely consider it!

Are you using it at all for gaming by any chance?

Programming, 3d modeling (AutoCAD and Solidworks), and school work. Not really that much for gaming.

Take a look at Lenovo, now that they've toned down on the bloatware their laptops are very good performance-wise. Or maybe you want an MSI laptop, though those are specialized for gaming last time I checked. lenovo laptops are great quality allrounders.
