Ok I was thinking about hiring a Dev I know but is this idea even good?

-I wanted to make a plugin specifically for faction related servers where it adds war/raid specific features, but question is: worth it?
It would simply be like a hook plugin, adding war/raid machines that could be buyable at a special shop. I don't want to spew out all the ideas but some are premade and aiming cannons, traps, mob troops, ballistaes for the armory. I was also thinking about making it so you buy castles in a shop to prevent bad basing, and make it more fun :)

The reason I came up with this is because I always loved the raidomg aspect of factions, but felt like servers these days don't have it right..

PebbleHost
High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

How much should I request the dev?
talking about price? I'd say around like around... $40-60[DOUBLEPOST=1452473698,1452473616][/DOUBLEPOST]Depending on the details of this plugin I may know someone who could do it for around $30-50. I would do it but dont exactly have a test server anymore... need to get a localhost but eh xD ANYWAYS. ya around their

ya like put it all in a .pdf or word and whenever your looking to buy it you can always contact me or someone else if you find anyone who is actually going to give you a fair price. Most people will be looking to scam you for like a $100 or more. Never buy a plugin for that much unless its like really dam complex and hypixel level shit or something. Otherwise your just getting ripped off.

Lol!
ALOT of plugins cost more than $100. Your opinion, in my opinion, is extremely biased due to the fact that you are a "SKRIPT" "DEVELOPER".
Please never call "Skript" as developing... Depending on a plugin for something to run, is not a plugin, which means it is just merely a config file that uses a developed plugin to run...

Badger Would you just stop already? Are you mad, for whatever reason, that people are able to take a shortcut and make plugins with a different interface other than Java? Does it piss you off that people make money by doing the exact same thing you are doing, but just going through another hurdle? If you are, then you shouldn't be in this business.

I already dislike the words "developer" and "coder", and much rather every single plugin creator on here to be called a "programmer". However, kids still throw around whatever term they want and there is no stopping it. I've already addressed you bombing on Skript, so maybe you should reread that post a few dozen times so you can be a LITTLE bit more open minded.

Read this, it shows that all of your statements are wrong (the definition of "developer" is way too broad).

A lot of other people disagree though, and that's just how it is. It's not wrong they make money from it, it's just an opinion. Many people here would disagree with calling it "developing". You can believe what you believe though.

Badger It does not directly affect you that they prefer to call it developing, so stop trashing their threads by saying shit about how you dislike Skript and how people address each other (unless somebody calls someone a "coder", then you should feel obligated to politely tell them to leave this website).

It is going to lead NOWHERE arguing about the terminology of this stuff and it basically screws up people's threads as well as starts arguments (which is against the rules, mind you).

Oh, I didn't mean it like that.

I don't think that people who create scripts are devs.
I didn't mean to call you out lol :p I was more-so capitalizing on what you were saying lmao. I now see how you could have taken it the wrong way.

Now lets keep it on topic here boys. Any other opinions if this plugin is worth paying for?
