Question about selling MC account

Hey, very new to this. Some guy contacted me to a buy my MC account with a 2013 minecon cape, offered roughly 280$. Plan is to 1. Change email to his, 2. Get him to transfer money via BTC, 3. Give him the answers to security questions. Is this legit?

What's the username to the account? $280 is way over the normal price for a Minecon 2013 account, if you don't have a special nam he may be scamming

I'd rather not disclose the name but he offered 280$ upfront before knowing the name, which is why I think its' super sketchy. Say I get someone like zygger, he'll most likely back out right? Can he still scam with a mm?

If the email isn't changeable, then yeah he could dispute it, but I only middleman the deal if the email is changeable, meaning I could secure the account. The only way they'd be able to get it back is by contacting Mojang if they have the TID or OG info related to the account.

Yeah, the name isn't crazy. Just to real names put together like erictom, but its cool. The middle man idea kinda scared him away so he was most likely scamming
