Question About Starting Plugin Development

Hello all,

I have a few questions! I have always been interested in coding and have a grasp on the basics of java but just cant seem to get the fire under me to learn the spigot API or how to do anything in mine-craft development in general. Are there anythings the long time coders did when they started to learn faster while also retaining what they learned? Or does anyone know of any good reading material for coding plugins specifically?

I mean, "Learn faster" there is no option like that lol. Take your time if you stress you will prob fail most of ur shit and make shit code. Take your time google make projects that makes u motivated, take on harder projects to learn more. ETC..
