Question about transferring a name

I have a question about transferring an OG name. If I have an OG name with a clean history and 0 account changes, is it a good idea to switch the name onto a new account for security? Cry did it and I don't know if it's a good idea.

Depends on:

• Is it worth the cost to transfer it?
• How much you bought it for compared to how much it's worth
• Is there a real need for transfer

Cry did it because his old Cry account was about to get locked

It's always best to be the original owner. And if it's your main, you should definitely be the original owner.

Even with my own account, thought it was secure until nearly a year later it gets TID'd so it got bought back, given to me and I transferred it successfully.

If you're worrying about not being able to get it on chearful/mcsiper first, just contact them before hand because both have 24 hour wait times and you'll get it either way.
