High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

I normally would use Centos 8.1 Minimal, I have been using it for quite some time now and never let down.

But to answear your question, both are very good systems. But would deffiently advise you to look into some Minimal systems. They have a much better peformence as they only have abseloute essentials software on it :)

The best one is the one you are most comfortable with. Doesn't matter how 'efficient' or 'slim' it is, if you don't know how to work the system it doesn't do much good.

I've used both, and they both work. However, when you run into issues it's easier to find help with Ubuntu, than Centos.

As a hosting provider, we also use both. I never truly worked with CentOS since I love ubuntu. If you are not experimented i think ubuntu has more tutorials than CentOS does. One advantage I love about Ubuntu is the LTS which grants you support for a long time. Between ubuntu 20.04 LTS is out I would go with this one. The kernel is better, more secure and it's really fast. But both systems are great. Choose it C:.
