do you simply think that you need hella money to get into this field now days.

Depends on your connections & luck , i've started servers with $0 and made good $$ but i've also started servers with hundreds of investments and barely made my money back

The issue isn’t the money. You have $200 and an idea for a next gen gamemode then you can definitely do this, but if your making a server like Skyblock, factions and etc.. you need money to bring custom features and advertisement.
