Unfortunately Boris has been getting shit tonnes of hate, most of the times for no reasons ever (Cobra meetings, not being there because they're not for him?..) Even though I also liked Corbyn I find labour very hypocritical and like to throw blame. Also agree with everything you said +1I personally don’t find it a big deal. I feel like the whole of the UK is basically just going out and socially as normal except there being no bars etc of course. I’m personally staying on because I’m more vulnerable but I look on social media and the whole of my town is out drinking on fields with their friends. I’ve also seen photos of beaches in the UK rammed with people. I think we’ll see a huge number of cases in the next 2-3 weeks.
However, you can’t keep people in forever. There’s two options for people to take really. Either wait 1-2 years of a vaccine and isolate, or go out and take the risk. I think people have more or less realised it now and are just taking the risk.[DOUBLEPOST=1590362439][/DOUBLEPOST]Also, I think it’s unfair how Boris will be getting hate. He makes the final call, but he will be being advised by Heath minsters and experts on what to do. I believe any prime minster would take their advice in the situation.
I do agree. As my neighbor said, he can relate that as a parent, you want to do everything and anything you can to protect your child. That's what Cummings did.I personally don’t find it a big deal. Yes, the problem is the irony. He is telling others to stay inside and isn't himself. What about his day trip to that castle??I fully give zero fucks. He made a mistake and tbh, theres probably about 20% of the population not abiding by it. The Press and the public are just being C*nts to him now. He made a mistake and it's been escalated due to his position. You're not going to get people booing because of Joe Blogs down the street seeing his girlfriend and kissing her (even though they're not the same household) so why is it such a problem when someone famous does it?
Literally not a problem IMO, I'm still going to be in lockdown just like everyone else and to be truthful, if you're one of the people that's going to go 'Well he did it so I'm going to do it' politely, you're a fucking moron. One man made a mistake, don't copy him...
Literally I don't get why people are getting so vexxed about what he did. He's lost his job for seeing his parents because he suspected symptoms and his wife was ill. Give the man a break - Jesus christ.
Yes, sadly. I know many people who aren't gonna give a fuck anymore and are gonna go out and social, and enjoy this bank holiday MondayThe Prime Minister and the Cabinet have concluded that Dominic Cummings acted within the lockdown guideines. Providing/organising the provision of childcare is essential.
Jenny Harris, Deputy Chief Medical Officer for England confirmed this 1 week prior to Dominic Cummings' trip to Durham:
“Clearly if you have adults unable to look after a small child, that is an exceptional circumstance.”
There should be no further action, as there is no case to be resolved.
On the lockdown, I'm still following it to the letter and the spirit. However, a concerning study done by a high-class University found that under half of young people are abiding by the lockdown.
I never said that he shouldn't be criticized by any means. I just disagree with how far it's gone. I wouldn't be surprised if he offed himself if this continues... Yes there is irony but it's the idiotic people who go - fuck it lets copy him and do whatever, that fuck the rest of us over thanks allI do agree. As my neighbor said, he can relate that as a parent, you want to do everything and anything you can to protect your child. That's what Cummings did.
However, there are hundreds or thousands of people who haven't seen their loved ones who've passes away in this time. He shouldn't be exempt. Perhaps this is why many people are fed up. Tomorrow is a bank holiday so I expect many people are gonna have a "fuck it" attitude and the beaches and parks will be filled. As welll as this,a millions have celebrated Eid this weekend, with Some breaking the lockdown rules to visit family and friends. This will lead to a spike in cases[DOUBLEPOST=1590365223][/DOUBLEPOST]

With his status, comes great responsibility, whether he likes it or not. He will be judged for every move he makes. Theres no way of stopping that..[DOUBLEPOST=1590365288][/DOUBLEPOST]

real heckin deepThis shit got real deep real quick
I believe they should of took action sooner but that’s no fault of Boris’s and he will get the blame. He would of been advised by professionals in the health field, he might have the final decision but he’s not going to say no to a dozen experts who trained their whole life to be in that medical profession.

They may be losing trust but with lockdown, they've done what they have to do. I don't really follow politics a lot (I joke about voting for the party that is my favourite colour all the time) but I do know that Labour would have run near enough identical to what the tories have done for the UK currently - No one could predict what was going to happen. There should have been an earlier lockdown but that's now the past. They can't justifiably lose votes because they're telling people to stay at home - do the public want to die?Yep, totally agree. Just another question for ya: from what I've heard, people are sick of boris' and the Tories (whether they are right for this or not is a different debate), do you think labour will be elected next referendum? Conservatives seem to be losing a lot of the people's trust..

They will of been preparing for a large increase in infection, a vaccine won’t be coming for a long time. They know the public will start to get bored and return to going out and meeting friends, it was just a matter of trying to delay the increase so they could handle it.
As I said, I think it just comes down to two options. Option 1- Get corona virus, build anti-bodies or die from it.
Option 2 - stay inside and isolate for 1-2 years and wait for a vaccine.
As much as I don't follow politics I just think rationally. Like, I don't understand why a party doesn't stop bullshitting about all these things they want to give the UK and just tell us straight and be like - here are the problems, I will try and fix them for us to have a better running country.Jesus, you guys come out with some amazing points!
Nope. The general public are starting to realize that the news' take on the Tories are generally fake and left sided. Some include making assumptions and downright incorrect titles in news articles and titles on YouTube videos.Yep, totally agree.
