[Question] Is OVH VPS hosting better then most hosting companies?

Since most hosting companies for minecraft buy boxes from ovh and resell them, would it be more worth it to buy the VPS SSD 3 if I am wanting to host a single server? I'm willing to learn Linux and don't feel like getting scammed by these hosting companies. Currently i was looking at https://www.ownagehosting.com/ with diamond budget plan, but instead think i should go with ovh. Please let me know your experience and if it's better then most hosting companies! Thanks in advance.

Single server with how many players? An OVH VPS will work fine but their VPS start with only 1 core, which is very bad for Minecraft mostly if you have any actual player base.

I run my main website on one of their cloud VPS and a few backend software on their normal VPS. Never had a problem.

Also you're not getting "scammed" by hosting companies. You're paying them to manage the backend for you and provide a reliable service.

I'd personally go with a VPS or a dedi - Linux command line isn't horribly hard to learn, and you always have the ability to use the server for other things as well. I have used ownagehosting in the past though, they do have fairly good servers, up to you in the long run.

They seem good but seem like they have the same specs as ovh and ovh is cheaper

The boxes are owned by me(my company). Located in Europe, The Netherlands, Amsterdam.

Would recommend this lad , even though I've not used their service. ( Still seems legit and friendly m9 )
