I'm a veteran factions and soup pvp player and I feel like ever since they added in 1.9+ they messed up the way of MC feels... The factions scene of MC is getting harder and harder to enjoy for me personally and I feel like everyone is copying one and another just to see who can be the biggest fake.
Today's factions scene is horrendous...
Everyone is running "Custom Plugins" when we know deep down inside it's either an idea that was stolen, copied or cracked. Everyone has over the top faction mechanics (Which are fun I'm not denying, It's just I prefer OS styled Factions).
Whatever happened to the days where farming was your main source of income? When did giving people spawners for cheap was the new Meta? What happened to grinding? Now a days a solo player can't come into a random server and dominate unless they join one of the biggest factions and that's if they're even accepted.
Do you guys miss the old feeling of 1.6 - 1.8.9 MC?
Do you guys think that a server that is running 1.6 - 1.7/1.8 in 2019 would succeed as a smaller-medium sized community?
Should I start up an Oldschool server that runs on 1.7/1.8 or should I just adapt to this new era of MC and just cry in a corner and watch the world move on while I'm trying to hold on to the better days of Minecraft?
