Did you try removing through EssentialsChat or ChatManager?

Yes and still has the [f]

You need to use groupformats. Search a tutorial on youtube how to use them.

Just to add a bit of context after trying to figure this out myself: This weird chat prefix has nothing to do with EssentialsChat or the chat prefix built into Factions/MassiveCore. He also has disabled Multiverse prefix.

Done its fixed. He was justing using Essentials when he should've been using EssentialsX (newer version).
