Hey MCM,
I know you may see my thread title and think it's pretty stupid as there are many shop plugins but, the one I had in mind is different.
I was thinking of a building which is the designated shop area and you can see shelves of items but instead of just buying it then and there, you can take them off the shelves (basically just putting them in your inventory, it only looks like they were taken on the shelves) and then when you've got everything you want, you take it to the clerk and pay for it or you can run out of the store and get say the police called on you.
I don't believe there's a plugin like this so for a plugin of this size, how much would it cost for a developer to make?

This is actually a really cool idea... I'm gonna keep this in mind for an smp with my friends when I make it. Personally I'd charge ~$15-20 (dont have a laptop atm so I can't do it)

My point is, you can't skid something like this because it hasn't been made before AFAIK. This is something relatively complex (with item stacking, npc cashier, npc police, etc.), I don't think they read the post and only read the title.

If such a plugin were to be made, it'd have to be part of other plugins as this would contain ideas that could be used for other things like say designating buildings for certain purposes, housing etc. So in total, this plugin alone would have to be either compatible or mixed in with several other concepts so really this would be hugely expensive to work.

Oh, my bad didn't read that. But my point still stands. Why charge that little on something that hasn't been made?? Or just charge that little in general. No wonder why I've been seeing threads that people create regarding a plugin that they want custom coded for $20.00 || below.

I wouldn't charge a whole lot since I've worked a good amount with API's that would be useful to me for this, it wouldn't take a whole lot of my time either. Of course it could be more depending on how complex he actually wants say the police thing to be and that goes with everything else as-well.
