Who Am I?

Hey there Mc-Market, you all probably don't know me because I only recently just made an account, which is fine. But hopefully one day, my name will be remembered. Anyways, I'm Rad, RadDesigns, RadGraphics. Everything. My name is Carena and I am fourteen years old, which is relatively young. I live in Australia (Aussie Aussie Aussie!) in the beautiful city of Sydney, New South Wales.

What do I do? What do I want to do?

I currently specialise in graphics design, which I have a huge passion for but... I have recently decided to branch out and learn new interesting things. I have been doing graphics for a long time now ever since I was very young. I am really interested in XenForo and I want to learn how to setup/design XenForo, sadly, there is a problem with my XenForo and I can't figure out how to fix it. If anyone can help, please let me know. Now, before I get more off topic, I also want to learn how HTML and CSS, but my young brain is failing me, I am really determined, so If anyone could help me, It would be really appreciated. Using the knowledge I *want* to learn (HTML & CSS) so I can learn how to eventually web development and web design. I am highly interested in it, if anyone could give me tips, it would mean the world to me!

Fun Fact
I'm an ex-staff member on YayMC, which is Ashchorren's server. Who is also known as the old owner of McSell which is no longer here.

If you would like to see my portfolio.

Welcome to the community! I wish you the best of luck in learning HTML/CSS (both very, very simple). And hopefully you can fix the Xenforo setup, good profits if you know to set those up or create custom designs.
Anyways have fun, and be safe on the forums!

Partially. I am taking a college class that starts on the 21st involving HTML/CSS. I know the basics, but honestly if you google HTML tutorial anywhere on the web, and you sit down and dedicated 3-4 hours you'd be able to create a website. It might not look professional, but that comes in time. Find an artist and have a background made, some "forums", "contact", "members" tabs, and icons created, and then your main logo. Add it all too the site with some wording and the correct spacing and you'd have yourself a nice little website.

It is very, very simple like I said. If you want help on where to look for a decent tutorial I can help you in the right direction. But like I said I really only know the basics of HTML, and it doesn't take long at all to learn it.

The problem is, schooling systems around the world don't start teaching children (and I use the term loosely) how to code until they are too old to be bothered! Case-in-point, here in Queensland, you don't start learning HTML until YEAR 11, that, for most people, makes you 17! You have too much stuff going on in your life to learn a brand new language!

I personally started learning HTML and CSS when I was 12, ans I've just gone up from there. Children should be taught code at a MUCH YOUNGER AGE, I'm talking 9 and 10 years old, and it doesn't have to be bloody C#, just teach them Scratch, or any easy language (like HTML).

Anyway, now that my rant is out of my system, PM if you need help learning HTML

(I do feel strongly about this topic.)

NO scratch is terrible. The only thing it teaches is basic logical thinking.

They should teach kids python at an early age.

Scratch teaches logic which is good, but I agree, Python is better ;)
