But for what purpose? It could come in use to some of the families specifically, but I'm yet to see an official fundraiser.

I'm not sure how to answer that, just so they know we support them? :/

Also, does anybody else think that there will most likely be a 11/13 day as we have 9/11 day in America? I think the likelihood of that is pretty damn high.

K. I'm fully prepared for downvotes, but I think it should be stated that that's exactly their mindset in regards to us (and the people they killed in Paris), that they deserve it. You can't beat terrorism by thinking about other people the same way terrorists think about them. I know it's fucking hard as hell, especially after they do stupid stuff like this, but the moment we start dehuminizing any other human (even terrorists) is the moment we take one more giant leap to acting the way they act (and justifying it the same way they do)

It's one thing to think in terms of self defense, but we can't lose that value we have for human life. Not just picking and choosing value based on what people do, but based on the fact that they're humans regardless of what they do. I'm not saying get tea with ISIS, I'm just saying don't look at them the way they look at you, because then even if we got rid of THEM, we're still left with a bunch of people who think like them (and will eventually act like them), and the world is no better.

Sorry for the unintentional lecture, but I really want peace. The perpetual cycle of war isn't caused by human nature, but by human thinking. That's a GOOD thing, because we couldn't change our nature, but we can change the way we think. That means peace is truly possible!

But even at that, we ALREADY have dehumanized other people. Take the killing of Bin Laden for example, they aren't going to throw any of these guys in jail.

Personally I do not think it is far too likely, no where as near tragic, 9/11 was kinda different for all of the rest

thebaum64 Yeah, 9/11 had much more fatalities, but the media is much larger now so the spreading of this attack is happening more rapidly than 9/11 did (not saying 9/11 was any less of an importance).
