RAM Problem..

Hi There.

I have a small problem with my physical memory.
I have 8GB total memory installed in my pc,
but in my system settings it is saying i have a total of 2GB..

Hi There.

Its a bug in the motherboard, it usually has to be replaced, or the RAM has a fake number make sure its from a reliable source

Did you put them on the correct dimm slots? Post a picture please , in this case they should be put ONLY in the blue ones if they're only 2 sticks

Try reversing the slots, or re-checking if they are secured correctly.

Its a bug in the motherboard, it usually has to be replaced, or the RAM has a fake number make sure its from a reliable source

Try reversing the slots, or re-checking if they are secured correctly.

What motherboard is it? Btw since you have one, it should be plugged into the one closest to the cpu (on most boards)

yes I am, to make sure, try using those ram sticks on another pc
