High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

Weird drawling style, a lot of edges, the second to last picture was..a mess honestly, the faces are just wack with little expression and more wtf? On the 3rd to last, the women holding the bottle of champagne is holding it unnaturally. I can see you becoming better of course, but IMO you really need to work on it.

Can you specify edges? So I can work on that. And yeah the second was a mess. I see that plain as day. Rough character design. As for the champagne picture that was from a reference photo, and it is unnatural but that’s how she looked.

Looks great! I see you've done alot of work on the 2nd to last one.

Some look a bit unnatural, like the close-up drawing on the 2nd to last one's eyes and lips look way too big for the head.

I feel like you should work not only on your shading style, but also the way you blend the colors together.

You'll notice on the last one, the left shoulder and the hair both look out of place next to each other, due to the lack of shading and blending.

So, features, shading, and blending.

That's all I can give for now, xD.

Overall, you seem really talented, and your style's promising!

GL! <3

Thank you so much. Yeah i still can’t get used to blending or shading in Procreate and there aren’t very many videos that apply to Procreate! But thank you for the feedback I’ll keep that in mind.

Ohhh, I see. I'd suggest you try and invest in a drawing tablet for a PC rather than using IOS softwares considering computer applications and more accessible and offer a wider array of options.

Though that's just my judgment, maybe you might be more comfortable using IOS, since I've never used ProCreate before, I wouldn't know what features they offer. :3

Honestly I think the biggest issue you have is proportions. Specifically facial proportions.

I would personally practice sketching things out several times until you're more comfortable with getting proportions down properly.
A good way to practice is to look at actual images of people and sketch them or try a few step by step tutorials.

Other than that, I'd say you need to practice a bit more with shading with appropriate colours instead of shades of gray. If you take a real picture into a drawing program and use a colour picker, you'll see that shades tend to have cool tones such as blues and greens and purples, whereas bright spots tend to have warm colours such as yellow and orange.

I'd also say don't be afraid of showing brush strokes. You don't need to smooth things out til it looks like a textureless surface. Skin has imperfections and pores and hair.

I'd also do a study on the natural way hair falls and folding in clothes. I'm not sure what your process is, but you should do a base sketch to get down proportions, then a clean sketch on top of that, then add the colours on top of that. The great thing with a painterly style such as this is it's easy to move things around since you don't have to work with correcting line work.

That. Being. Said.

I think these honestly look amazing as they are. It's already significantly better than I could ever do and I think you're off to an amazing start. You definitely have the talent to go far. Keep up the amazing work! I'm excited to see your future works.

Thanks. That actually is my process. I do a sketch layer, line art, the i color and add shades, as well as using the color picker which is how I got the other other tones. But I’ve only done that for the first picture. The one with a bunch of sketches only had pose references, and the last one as well, so I didn’t have much to go by. I don’t know why I didn’t do that for the second one as for learning how to shade, I’m trying my best, but as stated earlier, there aren’t many videos out for the app I use.

I do have an issue for proportion. I don’t know why but I just can’t seem to get them right. That definitely is one of my weaknesses. I do need to study hair more, so I’m going to try and find videos that apply to Procreate or something close that I can adapt to.

As for brush strokes, I always fear that it’ll look bad if I leave strokes because I’m not good at texture. If you have any references I’d be happy to look at them so I can help myself.

Again, thank you for your feedback. It means a lot, and I will try and take them into account as I keep drawing.

Thank you so much for the feedback and the kind words at the end. I will definitely keep drawing. ❤️

I recommend watching this guy. He doesn't use the same app, but honestly that's not a big issue. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCGgpthBWDbFX2GSljMw-MdQ

Also, if you have a computer, I do definitely recommend looking into getting a drawing tablet. Even if just a cheap $40 one. The one I'm currently using was $40 off of eBay. Just ensure you buy from a user who has several successful past positive clients. You can find this info by going to their page.

Thanks I’ll be sure to check it out. As for the drawing tablets I have two, just no computer at the moment!
