So the map is 1400x1400? o_O
No it's 700 blocks radius - it's a circle[DOUBLEPOST=1408895461,1408892850][/DOUBLEPOST]Current Bid

A radius is measured from the center to edge. So if this has a 700 radius, then it's 1400 across. I think you meant diameter. I made the same mistake on one of my auctions.

700 radius doesn't mean the same as 1400x1400 because it's a circle :p

I know the difference between a radius and diameter XD.
I'm defending City because you corrected him after he told someone the radius was 700 but the map wasn't 1400x1400.

Just to clear up this confusion:

On a shape such as a square, rectangle etc L x W (1400 x 1400) would equal the area.

This is incorrect for a circle, to work out the area you must do pie x r(radius) squared. This is not equal to 1400 x 1400.

You cannot use L x W for a circle because, as pointed out, there are no sides.

Proof:

Incorrect sum: Radius = 700. Diameter = 1400. Area = 1400 x 1400 = 1960000

Correct sum: Radius = 700. Diameter = 1400. Area = (pie x radius squared) = 1539380.4003

For those who appreciate maths :)

Back on topic - I believe Current Bid $175 If not sold :)

This is a map generated in WorldPainter, it's most likely square. We all know that the person who asked if it was 1400x1400 was implying that it was 1400 diameter, or would fit within a 1400x1400 box. Really this is just an argument of semantics. People love to argue out here :D
No, I clearly stated it's a complete solid 700 block radius. Lets say you have compasses in Minecraft, put your compass in the middle, swing it and it will go along the outline of the arena.

Not mad at all, just a little flabbergasted that people can be so dumb.

Looks like you just got proved wrong so you might want to take that back.

He clearly stated it was a circle. People only argue when you insult them...

Ok... what is the dimension across at it's greatest width? Is it 700b?
You obviously don't believe me when I say it. Maybe it takes a picture?
