its fun to watch people react to content you care about (videos from your fav creators, stuff that carries actual weight, etc), but I wouldn't care for people reacting to random stuff. so they basically get their views partially from the fanbase of whoever they feature in their content.

Well I see it as theft as they have used there video without permission to make a profit.

Well, while you could technically say it is theft, there's this thing called fair use. And then there's the fact that for many smaller content creators (or even some of the larger ones) it is a boost in viewers/subscribers since its free advertising outside their fanbase. and its usually just 1 video. Jackscepticeye for one has so many videos that just 1 being used really won't matter to him.
In fact, if it brings more people to watch that specific video, you could say they'd indirectly get paid for it.

Most don't make profit. I know a few that donate all profit to charity, and they've given proof of donating over $5,000 to Cancer research.
But it still is theft as they should not have gotten any views for the video as it is just stolen and it fucks up the creator at the end of the day.

I agree with Eqs. I'm aware about fair use but this isn't that they're using it for the person they're reacting to's channel. They literally sit there and don't make comments and make a grin or say "cool" maybe once. They get their views/subscribers entirely using their content. Not fair for Youtubers that grind and grind for subscribers by uploading a video every day.
