Really annoying graphics card error

Looks like your graphics card just stops responding whilst playing the game, this usually means the game graphics are to intense for that specific graphics card so I would recommend lowering ingame graphics settings.

Yes but if you have all your game settings on high and then several other graphics related things running this could cause a crash of the card.

Have you tried looking at what the error means? Maybe other people had the same issue. There are probably answers out there if you google the issue.

So whenever I play a game like fortnite, minecraft I crash and my graphics card gives me this error (Display driver NVIDIA windows kernal mode driver, Version 391.35 stopped responding and has successfully recovered.). I've tried everything and I couldn't fix it so I came here for help. Any help would be highly appreciated.

My graphics card is GT 730 2gb ram ddr3

Tried reinstalling windows, contacted nvidia, updated drivers, re-installed drivers, asked as much people as I can, searched google 100 times, changed all game settings and tried some random stuff I found on google which still didnt work[DOUBLEPOST=1543254812][/DOUBLEPOST]

Has anything changed apart from this error? A recent Windows update, sudden decrease in system performance, screen flickering?
Something you have to look at it a potential hardware failure/problem. Has the card been in your posession / under load for a while?

Here's a fix you should try.

> Open your nvidia control panel (right click on desktop and click Nvidia control panel)

> Click "3D settings" and under 3D settings click "Manage 3D Settings"

> Under the "Global Settings" tabpage, scroll down to "Power Management Mode" and click "Prefer maximum performance"

once that's done:

> Under the same "Global Settings" menu, find "Vertical Sync" and switch it to "OFF"

After you've done both of those things, click APPLY
