If you know linux, go with a dedicated server (if that fits into your budget @ Soyoustart.com or if you're on a lowerend budget and dont need "server grade hardware and can configure a stable server @kimsufi.com.)

Now if you're looking for Shared Hosting @ Shockbyte. $2.50/GB.

Or start off small, find a VPS provider (I personally am in awe with RAMNODE's disk performance I was doing around 400MB/s r/w)

If you need help feel free to PM me or add me on skype at rexs183 :)

Hope I was somewhat of a help in your search of a host.

Hello,

We are currently running a promotion of only $1/GB, for your first month! Prices increase back to $3/GB afterwards. Although our services do not utilize a custom control panel, we can assure you that Multicraft can handle your needs on getting the most out of your Minecraft server. Our Minecraft servers are hosted on Intel Xeon E5 CPUs equipped with DDR4 RAM and blazing fast SSDs. If you have any questions at all regarding our services, feel free to contact us! :)

Promotions:
'ONEMONTH' - $1/GB for your first month.
'MCM' - 15% off recurring.

Hey Chappell,

I think we can help you out. We can set you up with any of our shared hosting plans for just $2.5/GB. Use coupon code MCM15 to get 15% off your first month--or 5OFF to get 5% off every month.

We also have some great deals on dedicated servers--$65 for a 32GB Xeon E3 with SSD. And plenty other options to choose from as well.

Plus we offer DDoS shields equipped with protection by Psychz. Hop on our Live Chat at www.anvilnode.com and we'll be happy to answer any questions.

Thanks, hugh

Hello Chappell131,

Our Minecraft plans start at $4/GB and can be found here: Clovux - Minecraft Hosting
You can use promo code MCFORUM at checkout for 25% off your first month.

We use the latest version of Multicraft and all plans come with DDoS protection.
Dedicated IPs usually cost $3/month, but we would be happy to throw one in for free. Just shoot us a PM.

Kind regards,
Ultan

I'm not being a hypocrite as I don't own a hosting company. If I did, it'd be unprofessional. However Dedicraft is a hosting company.
Oh I'm sorry I miss understood!

They're expensive compared to competitors. Most people who order shared hosting want cheap, and the performance doesn't usually matter that much to them.
Okay - I won't say anything against that. You've got a perfectly valid point. Nonetheless, we still are providing our hosting service and the poster of this thread might like our plans even if they may be a bit pricey.
