If there is anyone who is in the discord and is waiting to play Reboot, I'm sorry, as I explained in the discord, the developer has kind of messed me up with these plugins and I can't release the server without them...

To keep this simple, this is the last time I'll be posting this thread. I've had a lot of complications with development which has resulted in me selling Reboot. I won't mention the developer's name for now but they have over $1k in plugins outstanding which haven't been completed, 2 months after he originally said they'd be done.

Statistics
Over the 4 years RebootMC has been active, it’s had over 400,000 joins, over $100,000 in donations and peaking 250 players each map. Even when the server has not been advertised, it’s had a 50+ playerbase just from discord announcements! Each map with no advertising the server makes about $1,800. Getting a few YouTubers to reupload the trailer / upload a series could easily triple this amount, plus if you had an FTop reward too. It's last map finished in June/July and it made $1,800 without any advertising.

Advice
The buycraft database has over 10,000 email addresses. Email marketing is more beneficial than people may think, especially if you offer old players their ranks back . Search up free mass emailing services to easily do this.

As Christmas and Halloween holidays are coming up, there isn't going to be a better time to release

This server isn't worth more than $200. Phone doesn't even own the real domain. Reboot had a really big playerbase and made the 100k in 2013 or 2014 with the domain rebootmc.com. Phone only has Rebootmc.net where it has no playerbase. Plus the discord with 1,000+ members is actually bought by Phone and a majority of the discord members don't even play Minecraft.

Just because you're salty I kicked you out of ownership because you didn't do anything, doesn't mean you need to trash the thread. Rebootmc.com is the OG domain yes, however the .net domain has been used for the past 2 years, which is where all the traffic comes from as I doubt players playing rebootmc 4 years ago who didn't play for 2 years whilst the domain was .net would still have the server, or even still play the game anymore.

You didn't kick me off the team. I left RebootMC. The OG domain rebootmc.com is the one that made the 100k+. For the past 2 years the server hasn't even made more than 1k with rebootmc.net. You can't advertise 100k+ made in your title and thread when you don't even own the server that made that much money. All this is, is false advertisement. :tdown:

The rebootmc.com domain about 50k. The other 50k was made within the past 2 years when the .net domain was made. Don't assume things when I didn't even give you access to the buycraft so you don't even know the facts.

That's why JUST this year in 1 map and 1 beta map it made over $1.8k? k then.

You can't advertise 100k+ made in your title and thread when you don't even own the server that made that much money.

Discord is pretty much dead has 150/1300 members online average. Map 1 was decent, don't know what plugins he actually needs. He also promised the ones who bought stuff on beta they would get it on map 2. Not that I care about some small money. Just don't promise shit you don't know anything about. To end it this server is not worth anything close to $600

The faction I was in won top 1, we took BuyCraft cause he promised us server would stay up for 2nd map. He's refusing to give us PayPal which is only available for us. DNDW

Yes it is, I got warned / banned for it before. People that retract bids, if the person or seller really cares, they can report that user and the user can get warned for bidding on a product without intentions of buying. Something stupid.

So how many times have you posted this server? Isn’t that kind of a hint if no one bought it at your original or anything like that that your server is probably dead after so long of no players. The chances of getting any of those players back are pretty low, maybe a couple hundred but if it’s not under the same ownership or cared by the same people chances are the community already crashed and burned before anyone even buys it.[DOUBLEPOST=1541008877][/DOUBLEPOST]
I’m all about buying and fixing servers, but this one gives me a weird feeling, I’d buy it for no more than 250 personally due to the simple fact of the player base has probably up and left. Unless you can post a poll somewhere where they can even say theyed join again I won’t buy it for 300, you post that poll and show me the proof people would join is buy it for 400

Forums have only been made in the past 6 months only under 1 map, not the whole time it was up.
