Receipt Confirmed on PayPal

Alright guys I have been looking in the internet for a while and haven’t found any satisfactory solutions so I turned to my favourite community! Not really in the mood to go into details haha

So here’s what happened.

Long story short I paid some money for something and then later on the people told me to confirm receipt since funds are in hold and I can’t get my item until the funds are released, etc, etc

Later on they told me it was all a scam practically.
Note: This was all via PayPal Goods and Services but I confirmed receipt but I’m still able to open a dispute

Then I opened a dispute and lost! What do I do next? I’ve heard of people saying report the paypal account or something but where can I do it? Please guys I need your support.

Please only reply here if you actually have a solution, I don’t want to receive a notification or email about this thread and get my hopes up for someone saying “it’s ur own fault, no one cares”, and stuff like that.

Once you've lost the chargeback you can't do anything about it, but there account will get put up for review which will most likely get them limited unless there account is verified with a ssn. If you payed with a card linked to your paypal you can contact your bank and get your money back that way.

When you lose the chargeback you basically cant do anything,if you payed with card contact your bank and you may get your money back this way if you have enough evidence that he scammed you.It would be good to list the discord name of the guy that scammed you on this thread or a new one so he wont scam more people in the future.

Fair enough, il just expose the user once I find his discord tag and ID in my DM list. The people who did it are called Safe/Light (he changes his name often) and WATER! incase you need to know


Also, Ren Louwtjie User Capaldi sorry for the tag but i hope you know some sort of solution for this. If someone actually helps get my money back I’ll give a cash reward

Did you pay via balance or card? If card, go to your bank. If balance, call PayPal and explain the situation in as much detail as possible. If you have proof of them admitting it's a scam, give that to them.

Two people called Light (or known as Safe) and WATER! It was that they showed me a dedicated hosting on shoppy and then it was all a scam. The type of dispute I opened was “I did not receive my items” and then I showed them literally all the evidence including them saying “thanks for the free money”

Did you pay via balance or card? If card, go to your bank. If balance, call PayPal and explain the situation in as much detail as possible. If you have proof of them admitting it's a scam, give that to them.

Balance, however I haven’t tried calling yet

Confirming a receipt means you can't open a dispute. It's an instant lose.

Best best is to call paypal and explain to them what occured, if not call your bank.

I don't have any other advice for you.
