Recommended amount of staff for a new server?

Hi,

So at the moment, I'm just planning out the idea of making a prison server, I still have plenty of work to do, so that means I won't add staff on until the server is actually ready. I'm thinking of a simple setup of Helpers, Moderators, and Admins, helpers just doing the role of monitoring the chat and reporting larger problems to higher staff. Moderators would deal with bans and such, and admins would be kept to very few numbers as admin positions would more so be like the admin of staff, etc. So that I wouldn't need to have so many positions, I'm wondering if that's a good general idea? And if so, how many staff realistically should I need for a server I plan to try and get 20-30 people on within the first month.

20-30 on at a time? Or 20-30 unique players? For 20-30 on at a time, I'd say something like 5 staff is reasonable, maybe even less. For 20-30 unique players, you need 3 max.

For 20-30 I would say maybe 3-4 staff members from NA and 3-4 staff members from EU.
