Mirillis action is really good, but the trial version kept crashing on my pc (not sure why), so I got Dxtory instead. Risk of this software is that it devours diskspace. without a custom codec it will take up about a gigabyte per minute.

still, I've got a low-end computer for this generation, so it's a decent piece of software. you just have to get used to 50 GB+ video filesizes (after compressing they're a LOT smaller)

Don't know if anyone already mentioned Camtasia, which is pretty good for recording on slow/good PCs without a watermark overlay. Also if your trial runs out Google a serial number and name (that won't validate) and you'll get an extra 5 daya of the trial.
