Hello,

I'm looking to recruit multiple Developers who could work on SkyBlock Wars & Another Server, you'll be paid once the servers get donations in but I'd rather talk about payment in Private.

What would you be doing for the servers?

At the moment, I'm doing a major revamp on Static Prison so I need to hire multiple people to work there and help bring out some updates what the players want. I'd rather have somebody who can do Java Coding due to the project we're looking to release (Will be enquired about via PM).

I'll also need some people to help bring out some updates for SkyBlock Wars, It's very close to release but I know It needs some things done before I'm able to release to the public because I'm worried about first impressions.

Unfornatanatly at this time, I'm only hiring freelance workers who could help out.

If you have any questions please contact me via these methods:

Skype: spigot.plugins
Discord: UntouchedOdin0#1504
Private Message: Click Here

Thank you very much for reading,

Kyle.

I'll work for you gladly, here are my terms.

  • I get 75% of revenue when the server released.
  • I get all the rights that you have.
  • If the server fails to generate at least $50 before a month has passed in which the server released, you will owe me a set payment that will be agreed on.
  • If the server never releases, you will also owe me another payment of $50 + (will be agreed upon)
Why didn't I think of that. :(

He doesnt even have $10 tho. He can Barley afford hosting, and this year he recived like $5-10 in donations. He bought a premade skyblock spawn, and wants to release without perms, a shop and real crates. And he Thinks hes server will be like arkham.

LMAO

Not really compicated but they think we just go into a program and type random shit and there goes the finished plugin.
It's still more complicated then building a build in minecraft, and I still stand by my quote that a lot of more effort goes into making a decent plugin then people think.

If you're actually a "good" builder. Building also takes effort, Anything you do takes effort.
I've been building in the past, been in teams, done it all. It's just time consuming and you need to be creative, not much thinking that goes into it if everything is planned out.

The only developers you're going to get who work for free are the ones who use Eclipse and have only been coding for 2 months and doing free plugins using bad practices and writing shit code.
I just stopped doing java plugins because there's barely any money to be made in this community. I'd do the same thing if I were you ;). I do though disagree on your point of using Eclipse, it's not like your code is any worse if you write it in Eclipse, it's just a program people tend to use more since it's easier to get into, but doesn't mean it does any worse.

It's a stereotype, not all stereotypes are true. As for barely any money to be made I'd disagree, relative to the age of people in this community (15-20 I'd say), $10/hour is a lot of money. You can also post premium resources which I've seen profit over $300 + and it's also a good way to expand your portfolio (I'm doing this).

As a developer myself, I can agree completely with MordorKing78. It's very annoying when people want custom plugins for free. If you're hiring a config developer (A "pretend developer" as I call them), maybe you could request a developer for free (or a % of your earnings), but if you want someone to code you customised plugins for free, that is just a silly dream that no real developer would do. There's a LOT of work that goes into plugin development and I know of noone who would do that for free for a stranger. Maybe if a friend asked for a free plugin, but not a total stranger who is offering a % of their server earnings, when most servers fail anyway, it would be a very unwise investment. Ridiculous

I don't know about you but i can be in the mood to do a plugin. get on mcm and get a client within minutes easily. If you're a good developer, the pay is good. especially when you work on side projects that you can sell to multiple clients for quick money. The perks of being a freelance dev, You work on your terms and dont have anyone on your back stressing you out work. You work when you wanna work.
Yeah, that's right, but I quit Java and now do webdevelopment frontend and backend, mostly NodeJS, PHP, JS (with jQ ofcourse), HTML&CSS, but I made $500 in two days (that's not a common thing but just explains a bit that it does happen), and I'm still in the learning phase, I've always struggled to get customers on here, no one really knew I was a dev, maybe I should of invested more time in trying to get actual customers but the ones I did get always wanted to underpay me, they'd only want to spent like thirty quid for a plugin that would take a week (and then I'm not talking like a small plugin, they wanted all sorts of addons and crazy features and custom gamemodes).

Edit: when I'm not in the mood I won't code, but when I'm in the mood I can code for hours and hours..

Yeah, well I've been out of buisness for at least a year, but I've never come across mature people that would hire me, and as stated in aboves post I maybe should of put more effort into actually getting customers and getting myself known as developer, but as also said in the above post I never got any mature customers that would pay over thirty bucks for a plugin, I once got paid fifty but nothing better really.
