Hi! My name is Nicolas, i am 18 years old and I want to create a minecraft server. I am working with minecraft servers since I started with 10 years old.
My idea is to create a server focused 100% on pvp. What I had thought of is to create a server as if it were factions + P4Free, a server that people will have to fight to obtain items, money, win events, among others. As I said, I want the server focused 100% on pvp, without mining, farms, or anything. I wanted to create the server with 2 savings: Coins and cash (medium, without being overpower or hard). The coins will be obtained by playing, killing players, winning the events, and playing on the server in general, and the cash will have more "exclusivity", it can be obtained by playing, but it will be more difficult, in addition to being purchased on the website. I would also like to add "new" systems that you don't have on many P4Free or FullPvP servers, like boxes, exchanges, crates, and those things from RankUP servers.
About disclosure: At the day of the date, I own a discord server focused on minecraft plugins that have more than 650 members, so I can advertise the server there daily, then I own another server that has about 300 members so it will help too, and also the main idea is to close partnerships with the discords of the game clans (They are groups of minecraft players that play all together to be the top 1 on every pvp server), calling them to play on our server, participate in events and more. Normally these clans usually "compete" to become TOP 1 in the famous "Gladiator" event, an event focused on pvp at all with in-game clans and rewards.
About Funds:
Currently we are two owners on the server, both Java Developers, so all the plugins and systems will be made by us, we are not going to use free plugins. I also own all the maps of the server so we don't have to pay builders to make them. To start off the server we will need to pay the host (minecraft and website) + the domain. Some months ago, i owned a server and i was paying 22.50$ quarterly for a 6gb VPS on Clovux and i really liked the system provided by them, i have never had a problem with their services.
Doing the final calculations we would need $23 to pay for the server host (quarterly), another $10 to pay for a domain (annually) and approximately between $5 and $10 to pay for the web host, so the final price would be between $40 and $45.
