Hi! I just need some quick help on Redis, as I'm a bit new and I'm understanding a few things,
Okay here's my scenario:
I have a box from OVH that has a redis server setup, and plugin as well. Now, my friend, he has a small network and wants to merge with me, so I read the wiki and luckily there's a way, I setup the iptables, I put the port as 6379, I open that port up, etc. Now, for my bungee on the box I rented, it works due to localhost. Now my friend's bungee, at first, it wasn't working, luckily it was a YAML error, so I grabbed a copy of the original config and pasted it in there, and configured it and made sure it had all the necessary requirements, such as redis ip.
I configure, then I restart the bungee server, and here is where it goes down,
When I start it up, the console just freeze, like it can't parse something, and it is usually when it is enabling its modules, besides cmd_list. I then do this for at least 10 - 15 times but it doesn't work. I forgot to mention the external proxy is on multicraft.
Now, Redis has froze my console one time, but that was because of using AUTH, which I removed in both config files.
I submitted a ticket to my host, as it might be their hardware, but I still posted it here since it could be redisbungee syncing with redis server which could be causing the freeze.
