Okay so, sometimes i'm on the sidebar looking through
and going into the recent threads/posts/replies and I have
this BACK button on the side of my mouse (like the razer
death adder, but its a naga trinity) and It lets me instantly
go back to the previous page. What I find annoying is that
the threads and the replies all stay the same except for the
time it was done ago (like how long ago the action of the reply
or post was), isn't there anyway to like update the sidebar
the same way the chat is updated? Without having to refresh
the page?

Thank you :)

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

Pretty sure that's cause your browser has a cache of the site and isn't making another request to MCM for updated data.

The refresh button refreshes the page.
No, look I'm spending my time chatting in the chat box I cba to refresh the page every 3 minutes
to see the new posts and threads, I want them to update in Real-time without having to use the
loop-arrow button :c

it probably does , I have around 20 extensions and stuff blocking cookies and other crap and requests so probably doesn't work for me.

but you're right , when I hit the back button It doesn't update but goes back to when I quit that page.

I'm sure this is a feature they'll add when moving to xenforo 2 very soon according to some staff members.
Most probably not the extensions. I hope so as well. Looking forward to it!

In our migration to XF2 we may make the recent threads and posts automatically update, but that will depend on what addons are available for that and the performance implication of doing so. Right now it's functioning exactly how it's meant to be and we won't be changing it in XF1.

Denied, thanks for the suggestion
