Regarding the Imgur Block

Imgur has a policy that you can't advertise or make money off hotlinking to images hosted there. What's probably happening is people are selling their builds, their servers, their goods, etc and hosting the images on Imgur. Well because they are selling something, it's in violation of their ToS. I doubt it has anything to do with traffic. This site is pretty insignificant when it comes to Imgur traffic. Someone is probably purposely reporting the site to get it flagged.

True enough. Though I wish Imgur would have some sort of "premium" option for hosting images, where you could do it. I've not found another image hosting website that's as convenient with albums and stuff.

Still loads as an image . Also, albums still work. So I don't have a problem, I just wish they offered a way to do it without technically breaking their ToS. and if that meant they could afford more/better servers (or gave you separate servers) then it would be fantastic.

Imgur still works, hotlinking doesn't.
