Regional (discord) Voice Chat - Talk only to the closest players in a world!

I'm thinking of making this public plugin which allows you to talk to only the closest players in a minecraft world. When you walk away, you can't hear someone anymore.

The plugin would integrate really easily with discord. Just install it, and no further configuration needed! Players would link up they discord with their minecraft account by typing in a command on the minecraft server, this will generate an unique code. They then type a command in the discord server of your minecraft server, and boom! The accounts are linked.

This plugin does not exist yet! It's only a well-thought out idea at the moment, and it would require a lot of effort and money (for the hosting) to get it started.
Before I waste my efforts, though. Would anyone use this plugin? It would fit perfectly in a large survival world where a lot of players play together (think 20+). Having one or a couple of voice channels would be too messy. Instead of switching channels manually, your players can just walk or teleport to a player, and they can talk to them through voice chat!

I'm thinking of pricing this plugin from $5-$10 when it comes out, due to the hosting costs involved for keeping the plugin alive.

Seems like a cool idea but it would also have to have Discord SRV integration as lots of people use that for linking already.
