Hey, I was about to go with an OVH dedicated server (32 GB SSD Intel Core i7 4790k at 4.0-4.4 GHz) for $80 a month until RealibleSite contacted me about an Intel Core i7 6700k 4.0 GHz with 64 GB's of RAM for $110 a month, any reviews about ReliableSite?

It's going to be basically one main cannon server and small side servers, 1 or 2 of them so which processor would be best for 20 TPS with a lot of TNT going off and how's the experience you've had with ReliableSite been?

If you are interested in other options be sure to consider us. While I have used both providers I would suggest OVH over ReliableSite and both CPU's you are interested in would be good for Minecraft.

We host large servers that get over 500+ players and can offer you company owned dedicated servers.
E3-1240v3 32GB DDR3 RAM 240GB SSD + 500GB HDD and 20Gbps DDoS protection in New York. This server was $140/Month now only $80/Month and we offer Skype support!

Depends what you're going to use it for , and which location you're needing. In my opinion , I haven't been with nor have I ever used RealibleSite, they're pretty decent staff members, that'll help you ;)
As stated in the thread, a cannon testing server. If you're not familiar with "cannoning" in Minecraft basically it's about 1k TNT per decent cannons and there's huge plots and stuff, just a creative server for them to test on. Also won't be having more than 3 servers, one main and two private. Thanks for the reply though!

"ReliableSite or OVH"[DOUBLEPOST=1472271065][/DOUBLEPOST]
The guys at RealibleSite are great, I'd recommend them over OVH.
Thanks for the help!

Maybe you can save some money by cutting down the amount of RAM with ReliableSite...
I don't think you'd need 64 GB of RAM for the type of servers you are planning on running.

That is if you don't need 64 GB for your servers.
Already PM'd him about it, thanks for the suggestion though. :)
Ty.
As stated in my original post, I suggest OVH, their network is more robust and personally I believe their DDoS mitigation is better.
It certainly is, but for the processors and prices I believe ReliableSite makes up for it. I can always purchase DDoS protection somewhere else, this is mainly so I can make sure nobody's had a horrible experience with them or something. Thanks for the input!

their network is more robust

What facts do you have that their network is can withstand better than Reliablesite? I don't remember them going down with a fiber cut and the rep clearly mentioned that they use a dual networking feeds to prevent a single point of failure like OVH suffered.

You are correct they had a fiber cut and some clients experienced issues. That being said at the time of the cut I had multiple dedicated machines for our shared hosting that managed to stay online (though had intermediate connection issues). OVH was not the only effected company on the east coast, multiple other companies were effected. That being said, OVH is a much larger company and has multiple datacenters across the United States. Don't get me wrong, ReliableSite is a good company but, from my personal experience OVH is who I would go with.

If you get hit off alot, OVH would be your best bet, RS's DDoS protection is expensive.

I has to disagree as...

OVH mitigation is shared

While RS is not (that why you're paying for it).

If you're looking for absolute uptime.. Then dedicated protection is the way to go.

Otherwise if your just want "value" up time then OVH may be better overall.

Thank you all for the recommendations!

For those of you who have recommended OVH, have you previously used our services and run into issues? If so, please PM me or e-mail me at [email protected], I would love to know where you ran into issues that could not be fixed. We strive to provide a better overall package than our competitors, including network quality, support quality, and an overall experience.

Seriously, you're going to make me have to comment again?
You seriously believe that RS mitigation is dedicated?
Let me explain how idiotic that idea is. DDoS mitigation systems cost a lot to buy/make and maintain. To Mitigate a 10Gbps attack on your server while leaving your server online with 1Gbps port means they would need 11Gbps bandwidth. If you believe it is truly dedicated that means that each server they sell with protection has 11Gbps total bandwidth allocated to it to have 10Gbps dedicated. Now if you realize how much bandwidth costs you would understand they could never afford to do it. What companies typically do instead is allocate say 500Gbps total throughput to their mitigation service enabling to stop DDoS attacks on multiple servers at once but is shared between all servers. Still does the same function but is not considered truly dedicated to your server.
