Remove begging forum section

But if people wanted to give back why don't they do a giveaway in the giveaway section?
How about not allow begging on the forums?
No, no, no. If people need money, they can just go and ask someone, for example, I had $1.50 over today that I'm going to give to a user here at MCM that got scammed, if you got scammed yourself, you are more than happy to get donations.
Just curious, what's your problem with there being a begging forum anyway? Why does it bother you so much that people are asking for a bit of money after getting scammed? there's a maximum of $30 they're allowed to ask for anyway.
Its annoying seeing it come up. And they really don't need it considering to post in the begging section you need to be premium or supreme(10$/25$).
Just because you have bought something doesn't mean you have got alot of money all the time.

To be literal, scamming isn't allowed and people still do it.
I agree with this suggestion in some ways, I see people abuse the begging section all the time, like you said "oh i was scammed give me your money" or other stupid reasons. It's easily abused by many people that just beg for money all the time, it should be once in awhile if anything, it's just another way for lazy kids to beg for money instead of having to work for it, this is a marketplace if you aren't trying to make money you have no point in being here. Not everything in life is free, so begging won't get you far.
Ivain says that without the begging forums begging will be rampant across the site which is wrong. Only Premium/Surpeme members can post in the begging forum yet begging isn't rampant across the site. And you would have needed to spend 10$+ for a rank on a website to get the ability to beg. If you really wanted to help people in need of money don't do it to someone who can afford to spend 10$ for a rank on a website.
That's true enough, though from the few times I watch the begging forum they rarely seem to be successful anyway. Lots of people are skeptical even of the legit ones.
oh and also, I'm quite curious about one thing. In the last few days, reports have been getting handled faster than I can remember, almost always within 24h unless there is a slowing factor. Same for support requests, and misc accounts approval has also sped up a crapload.
What exactly is the bit of data that makes you believe we need more people?
Exactly, there is just no point in having it. And if you have enough money for a internet connection you do not need to be begging. They are begging for money for wants not needs.
You seem to not really understand the concept of spending money and having money.
Over the last 8 months, I had enough money to pay rent, food and internet/electricity. just barely. I did not have a penny more. If I had been scammed $30 by anyone, it would have meant 10 days of food gone down the drain.
Anyway, there needs to be more reason to remove a section than it 'not being needed'.

As I have already said above. Only premium/supreme can post in the begging forums yet you don't see it clogging up the entire website.
yeah, mostly because a lot of those people still live with their parents, and use this to get extra money. They dont need to pay for their most basic costs, but that means that 'having money for it' is not the case either, since their parents pay it. They just lost weeks of their pocket money or whatnot. And if they want to beg, they're free to. It's not something that inconveniences anyone in a way that they cannot simply choose to ignore.
Most people on here are under 18 therefor its more than likely that the parents pay for the internet connection.
