Anyway, yes it gives MALICIOUS people free money. What is someone who ISN'T malicious wants a loan?

This is honestly just sad, just because you got scammed doesn't mean everyone has to suffer.

I've NEVER taken a Loan or been scammed for one - frankly because I'm not dumb enough to put a burden on myself either way around. Loans shouldn't have been on the site in the FIRST place.

People on here should be more cautious about who they deal with. They should take into account the join date, activity, how much reputation someone has (while also reading what the reputation says) and possibly going through people's posts to see if they recently tried to get another loan, or if they've succeeded.

It is up to the loaners to look for things to determine if they want to deal with a user. Of course there's the possibility of a high rep member scamming, however, that is usually found out pretty fast and word spreads. Some people still choose to deal with people despite bad reputation and that is on them.

People also tend to choose to loan 5+ people money all at once rather than loaning 2-3 and waiting until the payback dates.

Why remove the loans section simply because the loaners fail to look into a person before loaning? Why should the loans section be ruined for those who use it for its intent and purposes, who will actually pay back?

I disagreed with the suggestion because you did not list any good reasons for it to be removed, because if the loans get removed, then people will just move to have another section removed, then another. Having scammers on here is unavoidable. It is just up to the community to look into a person before dealing with them.

The whole reason I posted this is because the section is scam prone considering no one has liability, and for that SOLE reason this section is just a mess waiting to happen.

Cautious dealing? Yeah, that's something I can agree with, but in no way or form does that help this. It's so easy to get trusted on this website I find it hilarious. Join date doesn't matter either considering the influx of older members being banned. That's one part I agree on but that doesn't justify your statement.

The whole reason this section should be removed is that it's a scam WAITING to happen and you can't ignore that. The people who actually use this feature are HEAVILY outnumbered by scammers and malicious people. It's easier to control with something like a minecraft account because those you can pull back AND use middlemen on. If you get scammed for a loan there's nothing you can do and you're ultimately fucked.

NOT To mention that the investments part is a complete joke. Look at what happened to Fox with Zonix 1337.
