Remove neutral reactions

Under status quo, reactions like ‘funny’, ‘agree (neutral)’ and ‘disagree (neutral)’ are all neutral reactions that don’t affect the green number of reactions you’ve received on your profile card.

For those who’ve been here long enough (before the reputation system was implemented), you’d remember that the change to make the reactions stated above to become neutral reactions happened in the first place because many users, especially newer ones were mislead into thinking that ratings = reputation. (For newer members; reactions used to be called ratings) Now that the reputation system has been implemented, I don’t see why some reactions should be limited and not affect that green sum on your player card. They are after all reactions. Reaction farming is pointless now, making neutral reactions pointless as well. My suggestion is to revert neutral reactions back to normal ones.

This doesn’t really bring much change to the market but I’d like to point it out . I’d like to hear people’s thoughts as well.

Disagree (neutral) doesn't exist
Agree (neutral) should add to the reactions, idk why it doesn't
Funny should also add to reactions (positively) because either A. you're a funny guy or B. someone doesn't like you and if they spam funny, they actually help you by boosting your reactions

I’ve never understood why they made funny reactions and agree reactions in the suggestions area neutral. Farming reactions is already against the rules and people on this site get way too offended when they receive a funny reaction. Honestly just add them to your overall score and the people who break the rules can be punished.

When they make funny reaction not count for reaction score it is really just used to be toxic. If they changed this less people would use it, as it is 'helping' the person you are giving a reaction to

True, reactions should not be neutral. If someone is being helpful in the suggestions area, why not reward him for that?

People used to farm agrees in the suggestion area but the staff could’ve easily punished users who abused this and chose to instead make the reaction neutral.

The reason why disagree reactions is neutral is that it's a pretty negative thing, it doesn't make sense to reward a user with a high number because lots of people agree with them. The same goes for funny, a huge majority of the time if someone gets a funny it's because someone thinks they're being dumb not actually making jokes.

As it is we already have plenty of threads in suggestions made as duplicates, and if we made reactions positive in the suggestions forum people would just be incentivised to create more "Lets make a MCM App" suggestions and getting 100 disagrees for +100 reactions.

Even though reactions don't have as much of a significance now our reputation system is used to reflect your position in the market, it still is a number our community members like to increase, and I'd rather we work out ways to reward shitposting less rather than more.
