The plugins section, and I'm sure there may be other sections, is the home to threads featuring plugins that are "coming soon" and are "unreleased". I feel as if there's no point to these threads when they don't contain any relevant information to the product apart from the idea that they are selling because they aren't near complete or started on at all. They are posted purely for the publicity and free "reactions" because of their reputation in the community. These threads should be posted instead when their intended product/plugin is complete. Testing the product/plugin is an entirely different discussion. Hopefully, my thoughts made sense since I tend to not put too much effort into suggestion threads.

Not calling out any users, or topics specifically (Anti-cheats just seem to be a trend that repeats), as I am choosing to remain as unbias as I can but these just happen to be on the front page and what I remember constantly reoccurring.

Examples of these threads are the following:
We have not yet decided a price or a release date of the anticheat and all updates be made on this thread.
Expected release date: As of current I have none.
- Anticheat.pro, anticheat.rip, etc

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

What's the point of the internet without it.
I really don't see how this can help the forum, only helping with getting people away and minimizing the community.
I see it as a means of cleaning up the forum by getting rid of empty shells of threads. More isn't always better.

I don't see why this is bad thing. The threads wanted to get out there before they released to see if there would be any potential customers before they even release the product.
I do see your point but I don't think that it would be necessary to create a thread if you are just recreating an existing plugin or product. Even then, advertising can be done via discord, Skype, and whatever other platforms people use these days (I stick to mc-market/Spigot PM).

Well, I made mine because I let people pre-order for a cheaper price than the original. And also it makes some people save up money and then buy it instead of buying another AntiCheat like AAC. It's kind of useless if there's no information about it though imo so I guess you have a point.

I don't think that this is a big enough problem to warrant a rule or policy to be created for it. If a user wants to build hype for their new project I see no problem with them releasing information about it in a thread even if it isn't ready to be sold just yet.

Denied, thanks for the suggestion.
