Personally, I agree but not for the reasons stated by (not that he stated any). The reason I agree with this suggestion is that vouches already work. Vouches via your profile and sales threads have been around for as long as I can possibly remember. Don't fix a broken system. This doesn't accomplish anything new but in fact breaks the current system we have now.

Second, users that have been here for over a year or even a few months have a disadvantage. Members who have been here for that long have built up their vouches for a while. Now, a new system is brought in to play. You're forced into two things. Find each person you dealt with in the past to give you this "reputation" or you are forced to be equal in reputation to members who have done far less deals. This will increase scams. Users seeing they have the same power as someone such as Doge (which I find very reputable and have dealt with in the past). They will be inclined to scam for the sake of profit.

I sincerely hope a system like this gets added. It's best to let users decide for themselves rather than trust a number that can be manipulated.

Basically, when the time we had reputation implemented into MCM various users would just go around giving people bad/good reputation just because of the history between them two or two others. So as in User1234 gives bad rep to User4321 just because User4321 gave him/her a funny rating on there GFX thread. Vice versa. People also would give bad reputation even if the person that they are writing didn't do anything wrong to them. So User1234 gives bad/good rep to User4321 when User4321 never did anything good/bad to User1234
