Remove Steam Items Section

Hello everyone,

Today I'd like to address the problem of the "Steam Items" section on mc-market forums. The simple reason I believe this section should be removed is because it looks like now it is just a place for people to come from other forums or from steam and attempt to scam or either advertise their steam gambling referral codes. Just looking at the section, it is full of new users trying to come on here and make a quick buck by scamming people. So far the only legitimate people I've seen on there are Senior Pablo , mYm and a few others but other than that it is just filled with users with no reputation trying to make others go first in trades. Anyways, I'd love to get some feedback from you guys as there many Pros and Cons about this.

So you've dealt with every user in this section? Everyone besides two people scam in it? So all I'm hearing is we should remove this section for everyone because you might have been scammed or people won't go first with you?

1. I did not say only 2 users are legit, I just named two I knew off the top of my head.
2. No I have not dealt with every user, looking through many of the threads created on there many users have been banned due to scamming or people have been scammed off their own threads

May as well get rid of the WHOLE forum, because there are scammers < Your point.

Yeah, let's use the logic found within the reason for removing accounts and just remove all unstable sections in our forums!

Not my point at all, of course there are scammers in all areas of the forum but specifically in the "steam items" section there are a substantial amount of scammers. Check out yourself, go in that area on the forums and look at a couple of threads of new users, comment sections are just filled of people saying "you go first" "no you go first", doesn't seem like people are taking it seriously for the exception of few users[DOUBLEPOST=1458959392][/DOUBLEPOST]

Well, nowaday's that's true. However, the Accounts section used to hold that record.
anyway, people will be trying to scam. The best thing to do is not kick out an entire section of the forums, since this one doesn't break any EULAs. The best thing to do is to educate people. If only I had any experience trading steam items I'd add it to my guide, but I don't. Maybe you could make one?

1. Does not take much time just to go around the forum and see what is going on.
2. Been looking around on the forums for a while, just didn't take the time to sign up.

eh thanks for the mention, but I am still super new and I too had like 0 rep and asked ppl to go first based on my cash rep from other sites/forums. getting started is hard.
