Remove the ability to edit PM's

So Croc brought this to my attention that you can edit messages in conversations. Which I think is just stupid because is does not even tell you if the message has been edited.

Please remove this as its just asking for people to be scammed.

You can only edit it for a short time in the beginning, probably to let you fix typos.

Its a horrible idea because a scammer could say "Yeah I will pay after" and then when he gets a reply he can edit it to "No I wont pay" and it will seem like it was the person who got scammed fault.

Simple solution is to wait like ten minutes or whatever the limit is, testing it out right now.
Edit:
The duration of time you can edit it is 4-5 minutes. It does more good (being able to correct errors and re-check that you sent what you wanted and to say to the right person) than it does bad. If it's a big problem for you, wait for 4-5 minutes after the person promising to pay for it.

The editing time is 3 minutes now. If you really feel that uncomfortable, wait 3 minutes after receiving a PM.

maybe people change their minds after sending the initial message? is it so bad to need to wait a few minutes until messages cannot be edited anymore?

curious to know how they could lie in scam reports when scam reports are usually made a lot longer than 3 mins after the fact.

Editing of private messages was disabled when I was admin. I wasn't aware that editing was re-enabled. Not sure why. I think it should stay disabled. +1

If editing is going to be enabled at all, I'd argue 1 minute is more then plenty of time.
