This conversation has 2 members: myself, and someone else.

Now this was a deal conversation, done on mcm. But the conversation system is built around not being able to delete messages... yet I can kick this member from the conversation.

What does that mean?

Well, had I been scamming, and they opened a report, not only could they not invite a moderator, but they also wouldn't have been able to give proof of being scammed from the messages.

Solution: just remove the ability to kick participants in conversations. If you want to make a conversation, ensure you the members you invite are trustworthy and are appropriate for the topic at hand.

Each member should still be able to leave of their own accord, however.

Small change, but could be worthwhile...

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

Back when I ran the forum, this wasn't an issue. I had the ability to add members back into conversations through the database. I'm not sure if anyone in the current team has knowledge in this area to be able to do this.

You shouldn't have to add members through the database, that would be an absolute last resort. Going by that, too, shouldn't you be able to read conversations given the id of the conversation?

... but if those weren't issues to be touched on, I wouldn't expect any moderator or admin to have access to the database. Imho that's an owner & developer (only if necessary) permission. But I wouldn't know.

In my 7 months of being admin of the site, I had to do it once. Hence why it wasn't worth getting something made for it.

As Bosny as said, adding yourself back into a conversation is possible through the database. I don't know of any instances of this being an issue in the past, but if it is there are solutions.

Denied, thanks for the suggestion.
