Remove warnings [READ BEFORE RATING

I think that warnings should be removed after 1 year if the user has NOT received any warnings.
E.g if a user receives a 5 point warning and after 1 year he receives no warnings then it gets removed.
When I say removed I mean it's removed from your profile and warnings list but all mods can still view the warnings you received

I think warnings should be removed after 1 year if you didn't receive a warning which is the same within that year. Only certain ones can expire, one's which SHOULD NOT EXPIRE are multi account and mc account rule breaking and potential scamming

I'm not going to leave a rating because I dont know if this is the best solution (and I dont completely disagree). For all we know, the person could have terrible rep and warnings, and then be afk for a year after getting bored. After he comes back, he'll have 0 warning points and this makes no sense. If mods can view it still after theyre "removed," theres no point of removing it in the first place.

You can only see your own points anyway. It's not publicly visible.

While I have supported having the less serious warnings (Stuff like necroposting and spamming in chat) expire after 6 months or so, anything worth 5 points or above should always stay, and some of the others as well (such as minecraft accounts violations).

Maybe ones like mc account violations or multi accounting should stay but ones like trolling should go

since that warning is also used for members going absolutely apeshit on trolling and harassing, not really. Maybe the lesser cases couldbe appeal-able, but apart from that it needs to be the sort of warning that you get once and never get again because you learn from it.
Then again, not many people that get them seem to understand.

An appeal system would be good, but I think you can only appeal warnings after 1 year, maybe more of having that warning, but they can't have received 2 or more warnings within that 1 year nor can they have received 1 warning of the same thing, but some are impossible to appeal (mc account ones + multi accounting) but I think trolling and harassment should be allowed to appeal, but you can't get the same one within that year or you gotta wait another year

If its about waiting a year, doing an appeal wont be useful cause nobody will remember what it was for. But it expiring after a year unless you've had another warning like it is not too bad of an idea.

Yeah, so warnings can expire after 1 year just you can't have had the same warning within that year. ;P
But only certain warnings can expire not all

If you don't intend on getting any more warnings then this really won't matter. Most of the warnings right now expire after a set period of time and the warnings you do get aren't publicly visible.

I see no reason to remove them warnings completely, so this has been denied.
