They are annoying as fuck, especially in shoutbox when they are all clustered together.

They were never supposed to be a thing in the first place. Ajdin confirmed that they will be removed along with a 3 day name color change cooldown being added. (Hopefully in around a week)

All default names do on premiums is cause confusion anyway.

Well did Ajdin ask us members first? I don't think so. I think this is a perfect opportunity for members to discuss whether they want to see it and if it should remain, now that it's been implemented.

Honestly, I don't see anything wrong with it and I like that the option is there. I don't think it's annoying and I actually kind of like seeing it in the shoutbox. It adds a little more variety to the shoutbox.

The very least that can be done is adding in a white name color in the account upgrades. Hell, why not just add a bunch of new colors. It makes McM money to stay online and allows users to have new colored names.

It's the default "Registered" color that we're talking about right?

I've seen it. Personally, I like it. I don't see anything wrong with and I certainly don't find it annoying.

Why do I like it? It's something new in the shoutbox. You don't see the same colors all the time. Something as simple as a grayish color name really does make a difference, I think.

I do not support this. Members get white names, and having Premium and Supreme doesn't mean you aren't a member of this forum.

The color we're talking about is the default black color (white on dark theme). A new feature was released where you can manually switch name colors without having to make a support request. The default color (black/white) was accidentally made available to premium/supreme users. It's annoying when people keep changing to it and saying stuff like "huh huh guys I got into chat without premium" and it's confusing when members post or rate something and their name color is black/white.

having Premium and Supreme doesn't mean you aren't a member of this forum.

Correct, it means you're an "upgraded member" and you get the default upgraded member colors of Blue/Gold.
