I only created an MC-Market account to post my experience with OwningProds, so that other people are aware before purchasing a slot with him.
This isn’t my first time renting a slot. I’ve rented it twice before, one being the fourth slot, and another being the second slot, both being peak hours (1-4pm EST) on a Saturday. I had pleasant experiences with both of these rentals.
Everything was fine when I contacted Andrew on Sunday (11/22). The transaction went smoothly. I bought out 1-4pm EST on Black Friday (today). There was a bit of confusion as to what time zone it was in, but that was quickly resolved. We didn’t speak again until Black Friday.
I messaged him in the morning to confirm that everything was a go, to which he responded: http://prntscr.com/97part I thought this was a little odd. After all, shouldn’t the seller be the one notifying me that they fulfilled their service? Regardless, I went with it.
Everything ran smoothly, and the server was posted by 1pm, as promised. I was puzzled as to why there was a significantly lower player count (~80 two thirds into the advertisement, when, at this time on the lower slots I would have around ~130 players, not even on a Holiday, and especially after my player base had grown since the last advertisements), when my friend notified me that OwningProds never changed the description! I was a bit shocked to see his website and server IP on during my advertising time (http://prntscr.com/97ph1z). When I contacted him, it took him about 20 minutes to respond, basically telling me too bad and that I’ll make my money back anyway. He did not offer me any compensation, and I did not even hear a “sorry.” Here’s a screenshot of the conversation: http://prntscr.com/97phq2.

Op should of definitely informed you that he had no intentions of changing the description.
As said in the messages it does not effect your joins, it just stops any questioning from my servers players as when they go to vote the description shows up. You are straight up paying for the SLOT, unless specified otherwise that does not include anything past the front page. Never had an issue with this before, I have rented to hundreds of people. Next time you should clarify.
Also your server started at an extremely low count, you did very well for the time on the slot and you did end up going above 130.

You actually did add me on skype, but oh. And I have plenty of people to rent to, it's just the matter of who I want to rent to.
(the more business you do, the more there's a possibility for there to be something that happens) I have dealt with hundreds, so I am not doing too bad.
