I would go with .org then MCMP anyday, as long as you have more then 2 hours you'll do fine.
The more the better
By the way, I am in no way tarnishing this thread, I am just letting people know so they don't waste their money on just a single hour.

Spirit I am not trying to be rude or anything and I understand your informing people aswell, but .org has been declining if you have not noticed. Recently it has not been doing to well, bunch friends tell me its because hypixel/mineplex/cubecraft. Its a lot more to rent too. Honestly even my friend Zach (owns FP) said something like this yesterday to me "Made $280 renting to bunch kids who think there servers gonna get bunch players, .org is basically shit now" thats not exactly what he said but its close. (He owns 3rd slot)
Satan from my personal experience MP isnt the best but it does help. I had 0 and rented 2 hours last month got up to 25ish. So its opinion and it depends on your server really.

Zach changed his server drastically, that's why he is not retaining his playercount, plus I don't even know how to play HCF, and the majority of minecrafters don't either.
.org is declining yes, but it is still better to spend on then MCMP.
True, changing his server dropped his player count but it should not have dropped the players that joined per hour/day/week.. He explained to me (I know him IRL) how it used to get players flooding into your server 2-3 per minute sometimes now its more like 1-2 welcomes every few minutes (Which is about same as MP maybe bit better). I agree with you .org is better still but not for its price in my opinion. Its Been a good debate

I can agree, Mineplex uses .org and hypixel uses -mp for votes on the arcade server
bigbubba and everyone else that's skeptical of mp slots: I rented slot one on mp for a few hours. It's a huge waste of money, I shit you not we had maybe 100 joins from it in four hours, and most of the players would walk a few blocks from spawn and afk. Chat was dead. Almost no joins. Made a grand total of $0 back. Not recommended...
