Banned forever. Reason: Scamming (https://builtbybit.com/threads/aiko-scam-report.474450/)
I’m going to have to say requesting a middle man is different from offering to be a middle man, there could be some rep requirements for offering.Title, I think there should be a rep requirement to post a thread in the middleman section.
Yet and still you have a less likely chance of being scammed, even if people rep farm are they going to risk all that effort just to scam you, also you could check there profile, to see how quick they are ganing reputation.People easily farm reputation. Someone who has a high reputation is able to scam just like any other person, so I don't see why this requirement should be made at all, just let people decide who they want to deal with.

See the inherent flaw in requiring reputation for anything on here is that the moment someone with a high reputation who is middle manning scams the entire system looks like a complete joke. Just because a user has a high reputation score doesn’t mean they’re 100% guaranteed to not be a scammer.
I think a better way to handle this is the amount of money handled via that reputation. Someone who farms off of cheap Steam keys or Spotify accounts won't be able to middleman for quite a while if the limit is, say, $100 (and I'd suggest it to be higher, $100 is just an example). It'd also allow people that have only dealt 2 or 3 times, but with large amounts. Like how Nate will be a month from now. He'll have a rep for selling Rust, the rep he currently has, maybe one related to Hacks, etc. It'll be under 5 rep, but over $500 dealed.
[DOUBLEPOST=1558366315][/DOUBLEPOST]We can make it so they have to have 30+ rep and those 30 reps have to have had money transacted amount.[DOUBLEPOST=1558366564][/DOUBLEPOST]Reputation requirements have never been a good way to go. You've probably seen people, already, farming reputation.
Ideally it'd be like the Fortnite and Minecraft sections with a Premium requirement to post a thread. (Please note though that even that is not perfect. But it should help.)
But they are a lot more trustworthy than a new member with -2 rep.See the inherent flaw in requiring reputation for anything on here is that the moment someone with a high reputation who is middle manning scams the entire system looks like a complete joke. There doesn’t need to be any requirements to become a middleman. Anyone has the ability to scam and no number of reputation can change that. Some users might build a good reputation for themselves by middle manning and this would take that away from them.[DOUBLEPOST=1558366699][/DOUBLEPOST]Either way there should be some sort of requirements for people to make a thread in this section yes? Can we all agree on that.

If someone deals with someone that has -2 reputation and they get scammed that’s their fault for taking a risk. At the same time it also depends on what their -2 reputation was even a result of. It could just be because they’re toxic.Either way there should be some sort of requirements for people to make a thread in this section yes? Can we all agree on that.

I've been here since 2015 and have a low reputation score because I no longer do business on here. Am I to be automatically seen as not trustworthy because I don't have 30 reputation? There's also a pretty big difference between farming for reputation and doing legitimate deals. I could easily go and do 30 $1 deals in a single day and meet this requirement. Would I have as much experience as someone who has 10 reputation but has transacted with over $1000 in those 10 deals?Either way building up that reputation whether it's farmed or not farmed allows for a lot more experience in the market. Which is why you would trust those people rather than the ones that have a low reputation. All of the low rep middleman threads, already get trashed it's just saving space at this point.[DOUBLEPOST=1558366825][/DOUBLEPOST]

The opposite. People who have been here for a few years won't want to risk all that time and experience to scam you. People who farm rep fast can do that with an alt account easily. People who have been here for a few years haven't scammed anyone in that long period, people who have been here for a few months could scam you and open a new account, they have a few months experience anyways.Yet and still you have a less likely chance of being scammed, even if people rep farm are they going to risk all that effort just to scam you, also you could check there profile, to see how quick they are ganing reputation.
