Only be able to put rep if they buy something from you /trade or if you buy or trade something from the other user etc ,as I dont care if people are racist,Toxic or assholes like that shouldn't affect deals.

Like kids neg rep now a days for any shitty reason lol.

This is how I currently use the rep system. If it were any other way there would be over 100 members with "User is a homophobic bigot" in their neg reps.

Reputation was decided to be about people's behaviour because some types of behaviour are obvious warning signs and even without deals people should be able to neg-rep for those.
On the other hand, it does open the door to all sorts of fuckery, as a lot of of us have experience with.
So I'm still on the fence about it, but I doubt it's gonna change.

I don't see why it would be so hard to make a dual rep system for both trades/personality
They already have the main stuff made it would only be slight changes.

This way both ends are satisfied...
Then the only reasons a rep would need to be removed is:
- If it was set in the wrong section Ex: I rep your trade instead of personality
- If it was created based on a hate Ex: I rep you as an asshole then you rep me back the same because you were mad.
- If it doesn't follow the baselines to be an actual reputation (Most of the time mods don't remove these unless reported)

It would end the argument that has been afloat for months....

Reputation has the roles of Buyer/Seller/Other (basically trader) because it's designed specifically for business deals. Saying someone is immature has nothing to do with business unless it took place during a deal and made business harder to accomplish.

If someone is being rude, immature, breaking rules, trashing threads, making false reputation, spamming shoutbox, or whatever else,

Side note: Personal reputation both can and can't affect business. Honestly, I can be a total fucking asshole, but I'll never let that have a toll on my business here. Some might, which is where a personality reputation section could be beneficial.

I believe this It is opinion based rep system was to limit the work for mods.
because if I claim you to be an asshole that is an opinion which you can't disprove.
Therefore making more bullshit reps valid.

Pretty sure in a thread that a chat mod made, not sure Doge or Justis R made, Mick denied it saying that they're working on something new and the current reputation system is just based on what the community thinks of you, no real use for business deals and such.
