Report rejection reasons

In my opinion, It's not really fair that we don't get to know why our reports have been denied.
It happened to me twice that after I reported someone's rep on me and it got denied, but I didn't know the reason which made me very mad because I didn't know why they denied it.

If our reports are getting denied, at least tell us why...

The post has not meaning behind it, that's why I'm commenting on the stupidity of it. I'm not going to trash this thread and go on a tangent with you.

Of course it has meaning, what's really funny about it is the guy has a negative rep because someone ddosed him and he neg repped him so he got a revenge rep, and when he reported it and provided proof that the guy ddosed him, the stupid answer of staff was "improve your relationship with the member"

I personally don't even get why when kids neg rep you because you stated your opinion. Reputation should be based on DEALS, not kids getting pissed over your opinion. The reputation system is absolutely absurd, and If staff reject legit rep reports, I doubt they'd want to put in the extra minute to write a VALID reason.

Somewhat agree, I do agree that nobody should give rep based on simple opinions, however, rep should not be centered only around deals
Example: If a person is an asshole and threatening me, I definitely think its okay to leave a neg.
Heck, I almost got a neg for disagreeing on a suggestion without explanation, and for hating fortnite

I haven’t gone through all of the responses, however I’ve mainly scanned through them.

On countless forums I’ve been a part of uses the similar ‘copy/paste response’ which I completely agree with that it conserves time and it’s much more practical.

However, a middle ground could be allowing users to contact the staff member who denied their report with a link to application and a question for the staff member. This would then still keep the majority of the time conserved, yet keep a more clear ground for questioning members of the community (satisfying the suggestion by many).

Since the time this suggestion was made, we have changed reports to now automatically send notifications to users when their reports are resolved or rejected. Staff members also occasionally do give feedback if it was rejected with a simple reason, but if you'd like a more in-depth reason for why a report was denied, please create a support request.
