A notification when reports are accepted just like you get when they are denied

example: CasparXD gave me false neg rep so I reported it and didn't notice the rep was removed, I messaged Baum on Skype and he told me he already removed it.

basically to stop me/others looking like an idiot

Each mod has the ability to choose whether or not to send an alert when a report is denied/accepted.
Neither action guarantees an alert.
I believe a suggestion was already made about always sending an alert, and the consensus was that doing so would result in a lot more drama and useless arguing over every little mod decision that is made than it would be worth.

After you've made a report, leave it. It's in the staff team's hands.

Might I also mention you could have avoided looking like an idiot in this particular case simply by checking your reputation and seeing that it was no longer there.

sometimes i report stuff and forget i reported it
would be nice imo if all mods alerted me that it was dealt with, even if nothing was done with what i reported
