[Reputation] How is this even fair?

So, you guys already know the state of the reputation system and have seen how the staff on here do barely anything to resolve these situations. Now, we all know something needs to be done but so many suggestions have been made and most, if not all have been denied. This is again another reason why this system needs to be changed.

Currently, revenge repping is not against the rules but for some bizarre reason, the negative reputation against me wasn't removed even tho the user clearly lied.

Appeal it. You can do this by pressing the report button to the right of the reputation he gave you. This is unacceptable behavior and if he's going to be ten years old and register for the site at least don't act like it.

That's the problem, they denied the appeal because "Revenge repping is not against the rules". I've made another one just mentioning that the reason for the reputation is false/invalid. Hopefully, that will be successful but if it isn't, there's something really messed up with the system. Thanks for the advice.

It’s up to the community to resolve issues. If you have a problem with him, talk to him about it. Most likely it will end up with you both removing your negative reps and never interacting again.

I totally get this and agree in situations where both reputations where valid but the problem is that his reason was completely invalid and I in no way deserved this reputation. I had done none of the things he mentioned in the reason such as "forcing" him to change his mind.

If you view the thread this happened on (sd left what thread it happened on), you can see that Majored wasn't being rude. They were being friendly and informative and SD lashed out. He did that with several other people. You can't reason with someone who gets mad over nothing.

I doubt it with how immature he's been acting. The only reason I said that in the first place was because he was barraging other users with hateful comments, acting like he owns the website and telling people to get out of his thread etc.

My point is that his reason for the reputation was false/invalid as I had done nothing he had said.

Where in the rep sd left Majored does it say anything like "user is really toxic, called me immature and childish"? The neg rep was because Majored "apparently" was forcing sd to do what Majored wanted lol. It was all tips and advice, apart from the immature and childish remark but sd didn't neg rep Majored for that reason but for an unrelated and blatant lie.

You can choose to think what you want, but facts say otherwise. I wouldn't be defending Majored if sd left a neg rep that pertained to what Majored said, not what sd wants Majored to say to validate his neg rep lmao

Thank you, and that's my point. If the reason had been valid, I would have at least tried to contact them and resolve this situation between us but it wasn't, and that's why I made this thread to see what others think.

Secondly, how many times do I have to say that I wasn't forcing you to do anything. You're getting me confused with the other people on the thread.

All I said was that you were acting immaturely, which you were and this wasn't stated in your reputation against me.

Edit: This user is actually insane. This is why MC-M has an age limit so 10-year-old kids cant just go around acting like this and ruining other peoples reputation.

Just read his reply above and you can see this user is clearly under the age of 13.[DOUBLEPOST=1518438665][/DOUBLEPOST]I've opened a support ticket to get this user account suspended until they can prove they're over the age of 13 since you can see from his post above that only kids under the age of 10 make mistakes like "gaved" constantly.
